Can I use Marked Label if I already have a website?

Absolutely! We can enhance your existing site with a fresh, eye-catching design and implement strategies that attract a wider audience and boost engagement with tools for easier website management.

Why shouldn’t I just go with a templated website builder?

Generic website builders are great for quick projects, but they become problematic when an organization wants to establish themselves. They are limited in their visuals, layout, and functionality. If you need expert advice, and visuals that stand out, then you need a team that can help you on your journey.

We have a lot of creatives and leaders who will be able to help you on your journey.

What is a digital ecosystem?

A digital ecosystem is a network of online tools, platforms, and services that work together to help an organization run smoothly. It includes things like websites, apps, social media, and other digital tools that connect and support each other to create a strong and consistent online presence and streamlined workflow.

Starting a fundraiser

How do I start a fundraiser with Marked Label?

Visit our Fundraise page to first guarantee you meet all the requirements. On that page there will be multiple green buttons with a prompt to start your fundraiser. Once you click the button you will be prompted to fill out a form to set up your fundraiser.

What are the requirements to start a fundraiser?

To start a fundraiser Marked Label requires that you are a person, organization, or group that is on a mission to serve others. We break this down further in our Fundraise page under “Who can fundraise?”.

Are there any fees associated with starting a fundraiser?

No. There are no fees associated with starting a fundraiser.

How can I promote my fundraiser?

After your fundraiser has been launched you can visit your dedicated fundraising page and there will be a section named “Help bring attention on social media” where you can download materials to promote your fundraiser.

What support is available if I encounter issues with my fundraiser?

We are always available in case an error or problem has occurred with your fundraiser. Email support@markedlabel.org and we will respond in the next 24 hours.

How do I track the success of my fundraiser?

Go to your dedicated fundraising page and the first section of the webpage will have a green bar outlining the amount raised so far and the targeted goal for the fundraiser.

What happens to the funds raised?

The funds raised from your fundraiser are distributed within Marked Label to start work on your project.

How do I cancel or end my fundraiser?

Email support@markedlabel.org to cancel or end a fundraiser along with any other details. Any money collected thus far will be reallocated towards the Marked Label general fund and donated to another ongoing fundraiser.

Giving to a fundraiser

How do I make a donation to a fundraiser?

At the bottom of each fundraising page there is a selection of the dollar amount you would like to donate to the specific fundraiser. Select your preferred donation amount and fill out the credit or debit card details to donate.

What payment methods are accepted?

Marked Label works with Stripe to accept all debit and credit card providers.

Can I set up recurring donations to a fundraiser?

No. We do not have a feature to set up recurring donations towards a fundraiser. You can set up recurring donations when giving as a partner with us. All partner money goes towards the Marked Label general fund.

Is there a minimum or maximum donation?

There is no restriction on the minimum or maximum amount you can donate.

Can I remain anonymous when making a donation?

Yes. All donations are anonymous to the public. To NOT be anonymous select the “Display my name” selection under the name field when sending a donation.

Will I receive a receipt for my donation?

Yes. Once you have made your donation we will promptly send you a confirmation and receipt on the amount you gave.

How can I track my donations?

You can track your donations by requesting “View my giving history” on the Manage giving page.

How can I share the fundraiser with others?

To share a fundraiser with others visit the “Help bring attention on social media” section on the fundraising page. This section will allow you to download promotional content to help bring attention to the fundraiser.

Are donations tax-deductible?

Yes. Marked Label Inc. is a US 501(c)(3) public charity. EIN 99-2972766. Therefore, all donations made directly to the organization are tax-deductible in the US to the extent permitted by law.

What should I do if I have questions or need help with my donations?

After the fundraiser

Learn what happens once your fundraiser is complete and find answers to related questions.

Can I still view my fundraiser’s page after it ends?

Yes. After your fundraiser has reached it’s goal the page will be archived and found under “Sort by: Goal complete” in the Find fundraisers page.

Are there any follow-up actions required from me?

When your fundraiser has successfully reached its goal we will reach out to you through the contact information you gave us with the next steps as we begin work on your project.

Can I archive or delete my fundraiser after it ends?

All Marked Label fundraisers are archived automatically after the goal has been met. Your fundraiser can be found by going to the Find fundraisers page and sorting by “Goal complete”

How can I make a donation to Marked Label?

You can make a donation directly to Marked Label by visiting the Partner with us page.

Are there specific campaigns or projects I can support?

To support a specific campaign or project visit the Find fundraisers page to discover what fundraisers are currently ongoing and need your support.

How can I set up a recurring donation?

On the partner giving page, select the “Give monthly” button to schedule a monthly recurring payment.

Managing my donations

How can I view my donation history?

You can view your donation history by requesting “View my giving history” on the Manage giving page.

Can I update my payment information?

To change your monthly donation payment information go to the Give page, click "Give Monthly", enter your new amount and card information but MAKE SURE to enter the same email you are currently giving monthly with.

How can I change or cancel a recurring donation?

You can cancel your recurring donation by clicking “Cancel recurring donation” on the Manage giving page.

To change your recurring donation information you have two options:

1). On the Give page, click "Give Monthly", enter your new amount and card information but MAKE SURE to enter the same email you are currently giving monthly with.

2). If you want to change your email, either contact us or go to Manage giving, cancel your recurring donation and set up a new one.

How do I request a refund for a donation?

We only approve refunds for a donation under limited circumstances. If you would like to request a refund reach out to us at support@markedlabel.org

How can I download or print my donation receipts?

You can view and download your donation receipts by selecting “View my giving history” on the Manage giving page.

How can I view or edit my personal information associated with my donations?

What should I do if I didn’t receive a receipt or confirmation email for my donation?

Please be patient if you did not immediately received your donation receipt from us. If after 24 hours you have not received a receipt or follow-up email, contact us at support@markedlabel.org

How can I check the impact of my donation?

If you donated towards a fundraiser you will be emailed an impact report when the project has reached completion.

To discover the impact of your donation on our website visit the Find fundraiser page and click a fundraiser you donated towards. If the project has concluded you will find the fundraiser under the “Sort by: Goal complete” category.

After you have clicked into the project’s fundraising page, scroll down to reveal the “Progress report” section.  The progress report will reveal the current status of the project. If the project has concluded, the section below the progress report named “Discover the impact” will have a link available to view the impact report.

How do I contact support if I have issues managing my donations?

What security measures are in place to protect my donation information?

We use encryption with SSL technology for secure transmission, adhere to PCI DSS standards with Stripe as our compliant payment processor, employ tokenization through Stripe’s secure payment gateway, and do not store your credit card details.

Why is my donation pending?

If you receive an email from us indicating that your donation is pending, it means you’ve donated from a state where we’re not currently registered. When this happens, we immediately notify our legal team to prepare and submit the necessary paperwork for that state. Once the paperwork is submitted, we’ll send you an email with the receipt for your donation.
